Launch: Ìlú is live in Ibadan
Ìlú, a trust-first business directory for Ibadan, is live. Here is what it does, what the labels mean, and the launch offer for business owners.
Today we are launching Ìlú at ilu.ng: a business directory for Ibadan that shows you what was checked, when, and where the information came from before you call, visit or pay anyone.
Why we built it
In Ibadan, the costly mistakes happen in a few places again and again: land and house deals, used cars, poultry inputs, and event bookings. A name on a flyer or a social media page tells you very little. Ìlú puts a trust card on every listing so you can see the evidence for yourself.

- Event venues and vendors
- Campaign and election vendors (printers, signage, sound hire, venues and security). Listing here is not political endorsement.
Every listing starts as Unclaimed: the details come from the business's own public website or public map listing, with the source linked and the date we checked it. We have not met these businesses yet, and we say so.
For business owners: launch offer
- Claiming your listing is free. You confirm your details and get the Claimed label.
- The first 20 businesses to claim get the Verified badge free for their first month.
- Featured is ₦5,000/month (normally ₦10,000) for businesses that join before 30 November 2026. Featured spots are always labelled, and there are at most 3 per category.
Verified is only switched on after our checks pass. If checks fail, we refund you. Payment never buys a badge. See pricing or claim your listing.
Install it on your phone
Ìlú works like an app. On Android, open ilu.ng in Chrome and tap Install app (or the "Install Ìlú" button). On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
